I've been staying at the hotel next door for a week and a half and how did I not stop off at this place. Nothing ridiculous but it's pretty good for the price. The books are fantastic and funny. Definitely would come here agin. The booth cushions are not the best and wobble.

Classic American comfort food that is well done and reasonably priced. The service is prompt and accommodating. I had the corned beef hash, it was made fresh and delicious.

Went here for breakfast. Inside was decorated nice, with a western theme. I noticed it was nice and cool when we walked in but rather hot in the area we were seated. I ordered biscuits and gravy that came with eggs and bacon. I also ordered some deluxe hashbrowns called six shooter hashbrowns that have onions diced ham, mushrooms and cheese. The biscuits and gravy along with the bacon were run of the mill and nothing special. My eggs tasted funny and I stopped eating them. The six shooter hasbrowns were really good. Overall I think I would try someplace else for breakfast next time.

Stopped here on our way to Zion, we always try to eat at a local eatery instead of a national chain. We ordered food off of both the breakfast and lunch menus. I got the chili cheeseburger with home fries. My son ate most of my fries but the ones I had were good. My burger tasted great it actually had flavor and the chili didn't taste like wolf brand canned (thank goodness). My kids loved the pancakes and bacon (my husband and I tried a bite and they were great). The eggs, I'd skip 'em, they tasted like they came out of a carton and the kids didn't like them at all. :(. We also ordered pie for dessert and they were so yummy! I had the lemon, my husband the pumpkin. The meal portions are perfect, definitely not the supersize portions. The wait staff was very nice and we would definitely stop back by if we were in the area again.

This place sucks. Came here with my family sat down and where only given a breakfast menu and a lunch menu not for each person i mean for the whole table there where 3 of us. Anyways after waiting 20 min they sat a table next to us we still had not seen a server. This newly sat table got drinks before we even saw a server. So we left i dont think i will be coming back here.

This is a good, dependable place to eat: good food, large portions, good service and very good prices. There are lots of fun things to look at on the walls in the lobby, and there's a nice area upstairs for large groups.

This is an old fashioned mom and pop diner that used to be in Leeds, Ut. They moved to St. George and are only open for breakfast and lunch. Excellent service in a place that was built on memories (John Wayne and a lot of work in the old Westerns shot in southern Utah with the owners being a part of that work before the restaurant business) and good cooking. Nothing fancy...just good hearty food with a variety of options, great serving sizes (some of it pretty large). The breakfasts are the best in the area.

Just had an amazing breakfast here. Great friendly service, excellent food, good size portions, easy parking. Avoid the chains enjoy a local spot.

Nothing fantastic. I had the french toast, and it was just average. The small orange juice is shot-glass sized. The crowd at 7:30 AM on a Monday morning was all old retired folks who seem to come every morning--all the waitresses knew them well. This was not memorable.

Wanted to try a local business for breakfast after getting lack luster service (although decent food) at Village Inn the two previous mornings. The Wheel didn't open until 8am but that was fine since we got a later start on Sunday before our drive home. A homey establishment with just the right amount of country atmosphere. The server was really friendly but not intrusive. She kept my coffee filled up and took our orders quickly. I ordered a spinach omelet with feta cheese. The cook really overdid the feta. It was in chunks on top of the omelet as well as loaded inside. I scraped out most of the feta inside the omelet and there was so much piled on my plate it looked like a side order of country stye potatoes. I opted out of the side of hash browns and toast and was offered a side of fruit instead. I expected the usual sad melon slices but got a generous bowl of fresh strawberries and blueberries. The Wheel totally redeemed itself on the fruit. After eating the eggs and spinach and some of the feta along with the fruit I was a satisfied and ready to hit the road. My partner ordered sausage and eggs and was quite satisfied. We ordered " to go" drinks and browsed the rack of goofy gift store books before we left. Happy to support a local business vs. a corporate eatery. Prices were comparable to Village Inn. With tip we spent about $25 on breakfast.. Would most likely go back.

Came here for breakfast our first day in St. George. The food was great and reasonably priced. The service was awesome. I totally recommend this place. I had the veggie quiche and one of my friends had the pancakes. Delicious!

After being snubbed by Denny's, we tried our luck here. What a shock! What awesome service! My coffee cup was never empty, we were attended to as soon as we sat down, and the noise level for a diner was LOW. This will be our new breakfast spot.

I went here for breakfast before a hiking jaunt into Zion National Park. There was a sign that stated the special of the day was their Western omelette. I didn't notice the sign when I went in but the server told me what it was when she brought me a menu. I opted to go with the special. The omelette was made quickly and brought to my table with hash browns and the requested rye toast. There was also a small container of salsa which I used as a bit of flavor although it didn't have any kick. This place is a down home kind of place. Service was very pleasant. It was in walking distance of the Best Western where I was staying so this was a no brainer. There's nothing special on the menu. You won't find Nutella stuffed French toast or anything like that. What you will find is basic, tasty breakfast food in a pleasant atmosphere with very friendly people.

Very charming old west feel to this place, pictures of John Wayne and other cowboy movie stars on the walls. Delicious food and good service, I loved the chicken fried steak and eggs that I had and my friend thought their cheeseburger he ordered was very tastey. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of foods you get compared to somewhere like Denny's or IHOP. I definitely will be going back upon my next visit to St. George

Makes for a great and filling breakfast. Good service and friendly people. -- The books they have at the tables are hysterical.

Great western burger but they need to change the bun. It wasn't quite heavy enough to keep it all together. This is place the old timers go to in St. George and the only reason I have gone is because we used to have BNI meetings there. It's ok, not terrible by any means but just your average greasy spoon type of dinner. Though I did here John Wayne at there one time so thats cool.

There's much to be said for good, solid, dependable, Diner fare. Been here several times over the last few months; The food is always excellent, the staff quick and courteous. Last time we were there my colleague ordered the wrong omelet by mistake and they still replaced it for him, on the house. You gotta respect that kind of old-school customer service. The interior is homey and comfortable, and prices are surprisingly inexpensive. The Biscuits & Gravy are great, as is the Corned-Beef Hash. I hope this place never changes.

Breakfast was good and basic, french toast and link sausage my favorites. Service is good and our server was attentive. I will have to go back to try the Belgium Waffles..
